· He always has mood swings. One day he’s in a terrible mood, and in the next, he is in a great mood.
· One day he is basically crying over Rosaline. The next day he is filled with joy because he met Juliet and he thinks that she is “the one.”
· One minute he is trying to peace talk with Tybalt. Another minute later, he goes absolutely insane and kills him.

Immature-
· He believes in love at first sight at the age of fourteen and is infatuated with Rosaline. He is sure that is who he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
· When he meets Juliet, he completely forgets his love for Rosaline and is in love with Juliet.
· He rushes and takes things way too fast. He wants to already marry Juliet even though they met for the first time in their lives.

“Die Hard”-
· When he thinks Juliet is dead, he kills himself to prove his love for Juliet.
· When his best friend Mercutio is dead, Romeo immediately chases after Tybalt to prove his great friendship with Mercutio, and kills him.
· Romeo is willing to do whatever it takes for him and Juliet to be together.

Mercutio: Romeo and Mercutio are best friends in this play. Mercutio is a “foil character” to Romeo which simply means that Mercutio completes Romeo. They both combine to make one character.

Extra Facts about Romeo: Romeo is certainly a round character in this play. He changes the outlook on life pretty much everyday. He doesn’t joke around and he is very passionate.

Romeo is an immature kid with wild dreams, passionate, and is very romantic.
